Threats against the country will be faced effectively, caretaker FM said

AMNA - Outgoing Foreign Minister Stavros Dimas on Thursday handed over the post to caretaker minister Petros Molyviatis during a brief ceremony at the ministry.

"I am glad because I leave the foreign ministry in good hands," the former said in greeting Molyviatis.

"My term at the foreign ministry will be shorter than yours," Molyviatis said, adding that "if there is any threat against our country it will be faced in an effective manner."

On his part, Dimas referred to the significant experience of the caretaker foreign minister, underlining that it is necessary in this difficult conjuncture for the country considering that the challenges faced by Greece do not stop.

As regards the imminent NATO Summit in Chicago, Dimas expressed certainty that results will be good, reminding that good preparation has been made sending the right messages to the leadership of the neighboring former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM).

Alright! Beat your chest like an ape and make loud sounds. Maybe you'll scare them like that, because we all know that right now you can't even afford bullets for your guns or gasoline for your vehicles!
