Tsipras: The dilemma is Memorandum or SYRIZA

AMNA - Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) president Alexis Tsipras, addressing a rally in the city of Preveza, western Greece, on Tuesday evening, called for a strong popular mandate on June 17 "for the people to take their life in their hands."

"The only real dilemma in this election is: 'Memorandum or SYRIZA', all women and all men together shall give SYRIZA-EKM a clear and strong power mandate for the immediate annulment of the memorandum and the renegotiating of the unfavourable terms of the loan contract," Tsipras said.

Tsipras said that the pensions of the Greek people are not in danger from SYRIZA-EKM which, "with its government programme, will annul the memorandum and guarantee the dignified living of pensioners."

On the question of health, Tsipras said that SYRIZA's programme anticipates the organising of an integrated system of first stage health care with emphasis on prevention and post-hospital care, near the place of residence and work.

If Tsipras and his party is voted in...

then Greece will be in for more misery and it may well be the death knell for Greece. Tsipras is not what he seems and his claim to want to undo the bailout agreements and austerity measures is an outright LIE. Aaron Avouris(aka Kostas Simitis), one of the bankers' own and an agent for their agenda was responsible, together with Lucas Papademos who was governor of the Bank of Greece at the time, for the currency swaps with Goldman Sachs that led to the mess Greece is in today. THEIR ACTIONS and deliberate plans to put Greece into the situation it is today is where the responsibility lies. DONT MAKE the SAME MISTAKE and vote in SYRIZA for crying out loud. Alexis Tsipras is ONE AND THE SAME as Avouris, and he will pick up where Aaron Avouris and Papademos left off, no matter what he tells you to get your vote in the meantime. If you already know this I truly hope you help make others aware of it because its doubtful that most Greek citizens understand and some of you may have also noticed that critical info regarding Tsipras on the net just a few weeks back is now somehow nowhere to be found.

Greece: try maybe voting for someone who is both Greek AND has the interests of the country at heart. Whomever that may be i promise you it isnt Tsipras.

@Freethinker:
I lost you after your first sentence. Would I be to blame if I considered your approach anti-Semitic? I'll call you out every single time.

@Jim Adams:
I couldnt care less what you say at this point, or if you "call me out". No label coming from you or anyone else would deter me from speaking the truth or speaking up for whats right, and if you believe otherwise you're sadly mistaken and I'm deeply unmoved.

Most every time it comes to something that concerns Greece or doing something better for it, or even recognizing basic factors that have proven harmful to the country, you've proven time and again to merely regurgitate what the mainstream media has filled your head with; I doubt you're capable of seeing the truth if it hit u upside the head, or having a single original thought. You're one of those people who even if you were shown irrefutable evidence regarding something, you still would deny it if it doesnt jibe with the "PC" poison you've been force fed all your life.

Greece deserves better than the hellish fate inflicted upon the country by agents of the bankers like Aaron Avouris(Costas Simitis), Papademos and others like them who share the agenda of, and many the same ethnicity as, the globalist bankers. Avouris changed his name to conceal his true ethnicity in order to infiltrate into into the office of PM and carry out the toxic agenda of his fellows(e.g. the currency swap deal) who wish to see Greece brought to ruin. Thats dishonest and BLATANTLY ANTI-HELLENIC but apparently all you care about is defending these criminals and labelling those who call them out as antisemites. Doesnt surprise me.

@Freethinker:
A racist, a bigot and a spammer (let's not forget that). Everything I despise in this world. Don't hide behind the hypocrisy of calling yourself "a Hellene." You're nothing Hellenism has ever stood for. You are Greek culture's worst enemy! Twisting things to suit your sick sense of reasoning and reality. Conspiracy theories? How childish.

@Jim Adams:
Like I said, I really couldnt care less if you or any other zealot despise me or not, though just imagine how someone must feel about someone who actually does have something to despise. All I've done is speak the truth and point some things out which for the GOOD of the Greek nation NEED to be; You on the other hand deliberately wish to censor those who would dare speak the truth about it.

Also, nowhere in my post is there a "theory". What Avouris and Papademos did is FACT. It happened. The currency swap deal they made is FACT and its what landed Greece in the hell they deliberately created for her. If something is a proven fact then its not theoretical.

Anyone with a little common sense will be able to recognize the lethal consequences of Avouris' actions. Who benefits from the currency swap deal he and Papademos made? ONLY the bankers, him, and whoever else was dumb or vile enough to help them. If Greece votes in SYRIZA they can expect more of the same.

@Jim Adams:
truly pathetic response, and sad. You've outdone yourself on not being able to keep your zealotry in check. It must eat you up inside that theres still some of us out there still know wrong from right and are willing to speak out about it. Very typical behavior to immediately try and censor the truth by the way. When unable to defend that which is indefensible some will even go so far as to try and make it illegal to question others.

@Freethinker:

You are so right freethinker with your post! The other thing nobody mentioned was that with the country in the mess that it is the Government's biggest concern was that Golden Dawn did not recognize the Jewish Holocaust?? I asked does this Government recognize the Hellenic Holocaust by the Turks? We have to start worrying and taking care of ourselves and the interests of our Country and not worry so much about what goes on everywhere else. Nobody seems to care about Cyprus or Turkish planes violating Greek aerospace daily either? As long as we recognize the Jewish Holocaust (which I am not denying occurred) everything will be solved in Greece???

Choice number 3

June 6, 2012 by Irlandos (United Kingdom ), 49 weeks 2 days ago

If Tsipras or memorandum are the only choices available to Greek people, may I suggest alternative number 3: emigrate!

1000% correct!!!! The country

June 9, 2012 by canton67 (Canada ), 48 weeks 6 days ago

1000% correct!!!!

The country is run by Jewish Banking Globalists!!! Any idiot, with a little bit of research, could see that!

@canton67:

If you dislike globalism and consider yourself a Greek nationalist, please consider this:

Israel is a valuable ally to Greece and Cyprus and it is in our common interest to stick together.

Don't blame globalism on Jews but on those few who have benefited from it.

Wise words. However I do think that some "vultures" will attack you for your neoliberal stance. Good luck fending them off.
